From Passion to Plate: My Nutrition Story
Growing up in Greece, where food is deeply rooted in our culture and traditions, I developed a passion for health and food from an early age. In Greek culture, food is more than nourishment—it’s a way of bringing people together, celebrating life, and taking care of one another. This connection sparked my curiosity about how food affects our bodies and wellbeing.
To explore this further, I pursued a BSc degree in Food Science and Technology at the University of West Attica. I chose this path because it provided a broad foundation in food production, safety, and innovation, allowing me to explore a variety of possibilities within the field. As I delved deeper into my studies, I realized my true passion lay in understanding the science of nutrition and its impact on health.
Motivated by this interest, I decided to specialize further by earning an MSc in Nutrition at King’s College London. This program deepened my knowledge of nutritional science, covering topics like dietary assessments, public health nutrition, and clinical nutrition interventions. It also gave me the skills to translate scientific evidence into practical advice, empowering individuals to make healthier choices and achieve their wellness goals.
Now, I am excited to use my knowledge and experience to help others on their journey to a healthier, happier life.
